Educator for a day 2023
Bringing together the business community and school district for an impactful morning of learning and engagement!
Tuesday, November 7th
- Do you want to see first-hand what our educators do on a daily basis?
- Do you want to tour schools?
- Do you want to see what kind of technology is used in the classroom?
- Do you want to hear from new SD2 Superintendent, Dr. Garcia, & the state of education locally?
If you answered "YES" to any of these questions then we invite you to be an Educator for a Day! Educator for a Day is designed to give business and community leaders the opportunity to learn more about our schools and to experience the decisions and responsibilities our educators face each day. People who see firsthand how education is delivered can best understand the struggles and successes in the schools. They are also best equipped to share the information with the community. Through this event, we aim to build a better community understanding of our students, staff, achievements, and needs.
